Program Structure:
- Classroom Training
Our hybrid A&P Learn and Earn Program is designed to provide a balanced and comprehensive learning experience that combines the best of classroom instruction, real-world On-the-Job Training (OJT), and self-study. This approach ensures that you not only understand the theory but can also apply it in practical scenarios, all while being guided by expert instructors who are committed to your success.

How it works
30-MONTH PROGRAM
- FIRST 2 WEEKS:
In Classroom
The first two weeks of the Learn & Earn program will be in the classroom learning about the program structure, how to use the self-study software, discuss safety procedures, learn what to expect throughout the program, take a tour of the sponsorship facilities, and prepare to start your new job.
Throughout the 30-month program you will be responsible for attending your in-class studies for 3 days a week for 3 hours a day, and self-study at your own pace, generally between 8 – 10 hours/ week.
- WEEK 3 SUPPORT TECHNICIAN:
Start Getting Paid
After week 2, you will work on getting your Airframe Certification for the first 18 months of this 30-month program. You will work full-time as a support technician, hands on the plane under close supervision of one of our expert mentors learning the basics of aviation maintenance while getting paid: proper tool use, all safety procedures, manuals and documentation, simple aircraft repairs.
- MONTH 8 APPRENTICE TECHNICIAN
After the first 8 months, once you have learned what you need as a support technician, you will advance to an apprentice technician that comes with an increase in pay. Now you will be part of the crew for the next 6 months, working under the supervision of the project manager and crew supervisors learning more complex repairs.
- MONTH 14 CREW TECHNICAN:
During the last 6 months of the 18-month Airframe portion of the program, after you have fully learned what you need to as an apprentice technician, you will be working as a regular member of the crew performing complex repairs on multiple models of aircraft, with an additional increase in pay.
- MONTH 18:
At this point you will be ready to take your General and Airframe written exam. After you have passed your written exams, we will assist you in preparation for your Airframe Oral and Practical Exams.
After successfully receiving your General and Airframe certifications, you will move over to prepare for your Power Plant OJTs and moving over to your Power Plant sponsor engine repair shop, AeroThrust.
(12 Monts – Power Plant)
- MONTHS 18-21:
- MONTH 21:
- MONTH 24:
- MONTH 30:
Once this portion of the program is complete, you will be ready to take your Power Plant written exam. Once you successfully pass this exam, we will work with you to prepare you for your Power Plant Oral and Practical Exams.
- CONGRATULATIONS:
After this, congratulations!! You are now a certified A&P Technician. You are guaranteed a job at one of our sponsored repair stations: Xtreme Aviation or AeroThrust, or you can look for a position at the company of your choice.
